An estimate, not legal advice
This calculator gives a planning estimate from the figures you enter. Your actual 13th month pay depends on your payroll records, contract and company policy. For official rules, see the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and its yearly labor advisory on the payment of 13th month pay, or ask your accountant. Nothing you enter leaves your browser.
How the calculator works
- 1. Basic salary for the year = monthly basic salary × months worked. With dates, partial months are pro-rated by calendar day.
- 2.Subtract basic pay you didn't earn because of unpaid absences or leave.
- 3. Divide the total basic salary earned by 12.
If your salary changed during the year, run the calculator once per salary period and add the results, or add up your actual basic pay from your payslips and divide by 12.
